From: Sister SI --Problems with Heating---My heater just went out today. I called Piedmont Natural Gas and asked if I could speak to them about our account. The account is in someone else name. He works during the evening and sleeps during the day. They would not speak to me due to privacy policies. Now, I am going to freeze tonight due to them not speaking to me. I will try to stay with someone else tonight so I won't freeze, but this may not be possible if I cannot get up with anyone this afternoon. My pilot light keeps going out on my heater. I have tried to relight it but I cannot get a flame with the pilot. I have done what the instructions show to light the pilot but it just won't work. I will try again this afternoon. I needed them (PIedmont Natural Gas) to check this out for me but they will not talk to me due to my name not being on the account. I can maybe understand this but the person who the account is in there name will not be able to speak to them during the day and he works nights. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do. I really don't have any money to call a private service out since I am unemployed. If you know of anything that I can do to resolve this problem; please let me know.
